Medical Terminology
This workshop will benefit anyone in a medical or non-medical role. It is an excellent refresher course and perfect for individuals interested in taking the leap towards the healthcare field, particularly in an administrative or assistant role. We will cover many topics within anatomy, and will go over terms and word structure. By the end of the course, students will be able to identify the meaning of unknown words based on their root words, suffixes, and prefixes.
Aroma Akhund
The Instructor
Aroma Akhund brings knowledge of Ontario's Healthcare system having experience in private and public sector work settings. Her roles have included, and are not limited to, administration, research, project management, and patient care. Having experience in a large variety of roles within many different areas of healthcare has exposed her to medical terminology specific to the workplace. In combination with her educational background in Life Sciences, Aroma is well equipped to deliver Health and Medical focused workshops.
